Inter-Commercial Calypso Competition 2025 Winner

Erny J from the Saint Lucia Workers Credit Union recaptured the title of Inter-commercial House champions with his performance of “Monkey See, Monkey Do” a social commentary tale that cleverly explored how our society often imitate trends, behaviours, and decisions without fully understanding the context or consequences.  

20 Commercial Houses participated in this year’s competition. The order of winners for the 2025 Inter-Commercial Calypso Monarch competition are:

The other companies participating included Ti Kaye Resort and Spa, Royal Saint Lucia Police Force, St Lucia Teachers Union, KM2 Solutions, Bay Gardens Resorts, Water & Sewerage Company, IBS Group of Companies, 1st National Bank, Department of Labour & Gender Relations, Dramacan Talent House, Kenty’s Wholesale & Retail, Heineken Saint Lucia Limited, National Skills Development Centre (NSDC), Survivors Club, Ministry of Justice.

This year’s competition was held at the National Cultural Centre on Thursday July 10 and precedes an exciting weekend of competition with the National Groovy & Power Soca Monarch on Friday, 11 July, the Calypso Monarch Competition on Saturday, 12 July, the Republic Bank Panorama Competition on Sunday 13, July, and King and Queen of the Bands on Monday, 14 July.
