All 2026 music competitions will operate under the updated CPMC Competition Rules and Regulations, now in effect. Notable updates to Article 3: Registration include:

ARTICLE 3. REGISTRATION:

(a) An artiste or a group (hereinafter referred to as “artiste”) wishing to participate in competition must complete the registration form provided by the CPMC. Registration is open to those who wish to compete either as an individual artiste or as a group. An artiste may only register or participate or appear once and perform the same song for the duration of the competition.

(b) Registration Forms must be accompanied by recent passport-size photographs of the artistes, a digital file containing the Groovy or Power Soca Song to be performed in the competition and the backing tracking (an instrumental version with the backup vocals). The completed registration form must reach the designated drop-off venue or email address at the times and dates announced by the organizers.

We encourage every artiste to rise to the occasion, embrace the new standards, and help us create a Carnival season defined by excellence, creativity, and national pride.

Let the music speak. Let the rhythm lead. Let Carnival 2026 be extraordinary.
